The Beginning...

Hello friends and family! Welcome to my mission blog, the place where I, with the help of my sister Cheyenne, will digitally document the experiences I have while serving a mission for the LDS Church. I am so excited to embark on this adventure and I can't wait to help others come to know Jesus Christ.

This whole thing started back in October when I felt like it was the right time for me to leave school, family, and friends behind and dedicate my life to service for 18 months. I fill out the forms, got the shots, went to the doctor, and got all my affairs in order. Finally, in January, I submitted my application and when February arrived, so did my mission call. Here is how it all went down:

So yeah, I was a little excited to finally have a time and place for when and where I will be serving. Five-ish weeks have flown by since that fateful day, and now just 10 days remain until I enter the Missionary Training Center.

I'm excited and grateful and humbled and nervous and anxious and enthusiastic for the next year and half. I know it will be hard but I also know I will be where I am supposed to be, doing what I am supposed to be doing!
